When you hit rock bottom,
You have nowhere to go
All seems lost and dark within
And when spirits are down and low.
A voice then echoes so loud
‘Can I control my destiny?’
The inner folds of the mind
Just wait for clarity.
Looking at my ‘shadows’,
I sink deeper more
But then I ‘look upwards’
And hope enters my core!
It tells me to be alright,
With my shadows so dark
And let them fade with sunshine
As I upwardly march!

Creative Writing has always been a passion for Shraddha. Born and brought up in the ‘Maximum City’ of Mumbai, India, she writes in English, Hindi (National language of India) and Marathi (Shraddha’s mother tongue and State language of Maharashtra, in which she resides).
