Stardust
We are stardust
We are scattering in photons through the universe
We flow like waves, stream like particles
We are everywhere
Now grounded on this blue blue world, reaching for the stars
We want to travel those dark skies to find out where we are
But from this island of awareness in a corner of the Milky Way
The nearest constellations are light years away
Stardust
Cosmic fall-out
Lighting up the corners of the galaxies
No beginning, no ending, recycled
Deja vu
We have been here before
We were flying in-formation through the universe
Eternal dust fused inside the fire
We are everything
Now looking out from this blue world on an infinite sea of stars
We’re searching back through our history to find out who we are
The ancient dust that made us, blown around for millions of years
Gave us this universe and our final frontier
