A mirrored kaleidoscope
whirs in misted light
projecting figured shadows
in psychedelic majesty
who whisper of worlds unseen
and powers unbegotten
barrelling through a maelstrom
of portals and chambers
where knights parry
in perpetual jousting
and hurl flamed sconces;
Rusted armour rasping.
Author Bio:
I am an award wining author who has received the Emily Dickinson award for my poetry collection Mystic Meanderings, published by Bookleaf Publishing and available on Amazon. I also won first prize for my poem Be happy and meowful, in a competition run by Anderida Writers. In the online forum, Poetry Soup, I came third for House of ghosts.
