The little white house
one hollow, pale May
gapes wide dark bowels
devours a prized race.
Screams in the black
tunes and sweet song.
Hair to power looms
Last waltz of souls
in carbon-streaked flames.

I an award winning author who has received the Emily Dickinson award for my poetry collection, Mystic Meanderings, published by Bookleaf Publishing and available on Amazon. I also won first prize for my poem Be happy and meowful in a competition run by Anderida Writers. In the online poetry forum, Poetry Soup, I came third for House of ghosts.
